About Dr. John Reynolds, ND
Dr. Reynolds was introduced to holistic medicine at an early age growing up in the Florida Keys. His mother was one of the first licensed midwives in the state of Florida. His interest in human relations led him to study Psychology at the University of Florida where he graduated with a bachelors degree in 1995. He later did post graduate work in both Sports and Social Psychology.
Dr. Reynolds spent his 10 years after graduation traveling and working though out the US, but fell in love with the Northwest after spending two years in Seattle. There he worked as a Counselor for a local community health clinic. He later began working with families when he was hired as a Program Manager for childrens’ non-profit. When the opportunity arose he moved back to the Northwest and completed his medical training at the National College of Natural Medicine .
Dr. Reynolds has a passion for treating all issues related to hormones, neurotransmitters, gastrointestinal concerns and food allergies. He has extensive experience treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. He has worked with patients to reduce and terminate their use of anti-depressant medications. He also devotes a significant portion of his practice to treating hormonal imbalances. He treats sexual dysfunction, low libido, low hormone states, thyroid dysfunction, low functioning adrenals and fatigue. Dr. Reynolds is experienced in treating complex hormonal issues for both men and women. Dr. Reynolds periodically gives free public lectures on natural health topics at Whole Foods of Hollywood. Dr. Reynolds uses a unique combination of herbal medicine, homeopathy, bio-identical hormones (when indicated), diet and lifestyle recommendations when treating these conditions. Dr. Reynolds has advanced training in spinal manipulation and physical therapies for pain management. Dr. Reynolds continues to be amazed by the effectiveness of natural healing and herbal medicine. Dr. Reynolds continues to enjoy the outdoors and is an avid photographer.
