About Dr. Shannon Reive-Schmidt, ND
Dr. Shannon Reive-Schmidt is a licensed naturopathic physician and LENS neurofeedback provider. She attended the National College of Natural Medicine, where she obtained her doctorate in naturopathic medicine with honors in research. Dr. Shannon has a special interest in women’s health, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and mental health. She offers many treatment options including bio-identical hormones, HRT, herbal medicine, neurofeedback therapy, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, and detoxification
Women’s Health and Hormones
Having completed extensive training in women’s health, bio-identical hormone therapy, and medical & breast thermography, Dr. Shannon is passionate about taking a holistic approach to women’s healthcare concerns. She enjoys working with women of all ages, treating a range of conditions, including PMS, infertility, peri-menopausal & menopausal symptoms, irregular menstrual cycles, PCOS, thyroid disorders, anxiety, depression, fatigue and insomnia. With extensive experience diagnosing and treating PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), premature ovarian failure, and infertility, Dr. Shannon loves helping women achieve hormonal balance.

While completing a year-long internship at NCNM, Dr. Shannon gained clinical experience with the utilization of neurofeedback
Clinical Nutrition and Gastroenterology
Dr. Shannon is passionate about clinical nutrition and loves sharing her own personal recipes and dietary secrets to help her patients develop eating habits to nourish and heal on a cellular level. “With nutrition, there isn’t a one-size fits all approach. Each and every one of us has a unique genetic makeup and gut microbiota, impacting the way we digest and absorb nutrients from our food. Addressing diet and gut health is often the best place to start when seeking optimal health.” Dr. Shannon has clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of small intestinal bacteria overgrowth (SIBO). She utilizes diet, herbs, pharmaceutical medication, and homeopathy to treat both chronic and acute gut health concerns.
Dr. Reive-Schmidt also completed extensive training in homeopathy both at NCNM and with the prestigious New England School of Homeopathy (NESH).
A native to the Pacific NW, when not in the office, Shannon loves to be active and outdoors with her husband and two children as much as possible.
